New Hope Church and Cemetery
New Hope Church, located in Paulding Co., Georgia is the historical site of (Un)Civil War Battle fought May 1864. The very back north side of New Hope Cemetery was the position of Union Forces. During the battle approx 1600 Union Soldiers were killed. Afterwards, Union Gen. Sherman said that they named the location *Hell Hole*.
