Ecuador - Blyth Academy - Volunteering on the Galapagos Islands
High school students from the Blyth Academy in Toronto spent a day this summer at an elementary school on the island of Santa Cruz on the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. The 20+ students cleaned, painted, and performed light repairs at the school. The students also visited and heard lectures at one of the nearby tortoise sites where our volunteers work regularly. Cosmic Volunteers was happy to arrange their day-of-service service free of charge, while donating all materials and tools for the students' work as well as transport and meals.
