JASK

These photos were taken at JASK's (Japan-America Society of Kentucky) summer festival 2008. JASK has supported cultural exchange between Japanese and Americans in Kentucky since Toyota’s arrival in 1987. This summer we introduce a new event: a large-scale outdoor summer event for Kentuckians and their families. Bluegrass Budokai was honored to offer demonstrations in Judo, Iaido and Aikido. Meido Moore Sensei 2008 (4th annual) Seminar

Meido Moore Sensei's 4th annual seminar in Kentucky. Another great seminar bringing students from varying organizations and states together to train in Aikido. Many thanks to Moore Sensei, Enmei Hunter Sensei and the students from Shinjinkai making the trip to Kentucky. Many thanks to Dave Mata Sensei and his students for making the long trip from Grand Rapids Michigan. We also look forward to training again with the students from the Lexington, UK Aikido club as well as Mr. Allen Hinkle from the Aikido School of Lexington who made the trip to Winchester again this year.
