This is the entrance to Walt Disney Studios..... Disney Land is divided in 2 parts .... Disney Park and Disney Studios
this and behind all that you see is Disney Studio....very modern but village like setting ... That's Walt Disney with Mickey Mouse

The Nemo Arena ... they had Turtle back roller coaster rides. Jay refused to sit on them
seee..... here comes the roller coaster ride chair out of the pavillion in the shape of a turtle back
one of the scary rides.... this is the impression of a hollywood tower hotel that is in ruins and has been burned. its spooky inside plus there is a FREE FALL ride from the topmost 13th floor to the 1st floor directly. All throughout the day, one can hear screams and shrieks coming from this building
The Disney Train that took visitors around . One interesting fact here is that the red panel which is the body on the side of the train (where Walt Disney Studio is written), actually rises up to become the door for the people to step in and out. Sooooo..... the body of the train is also the door of the wagons. ... :)
see.... this is what i meant.... the body panel goes up and acts as the door.... for people to step in and out ....once seated, it again comes down and locks as the door

such wire mesh and such intricacies. No wonder they look so authentic and real in the movies !! so much of hardwork goes behind them ...mmmmmm

Another such set .... oh the fire is real !! and it did produce lots of heat in just one flash. Wonder how people work around it during their shoots !!

in the foodcourt area...... these 3 tyres were placed as you see, on top of each other strategically, and they were revolving and rotating. Looked cool !
this is Animagique as it says. Disney Studio had various such 30 minutes shows in small small theatres holding around 1000 - 1500 people at a time and they enacted various shows....like mickey and donald, then baghira and baloo, then how Animation came into presence and how any particular character in Walt Disney is formed and how they are brought into movies. All in all very entertaining and imaginative.... Even kids could understand.
in this pavillion, they showed the art of animation. very simple and very basic concepts
aaahhh..... this was very good..... a real animation drawing class in progress. If you see the walls behind, you will see, how a caricature is drawn .... and a lady gives live classes for people to listen and follow instructions.

The Carz pavilion
the Magical Carpet arena.... simple se simple rides ko kitna khoobsurat banaya hai that not only kids but even adults want to ride them.... if you see carefully, you can see the "giniee" too on one side.

The entire of Disney Land is made up of such buildings and architectures, very english countryside like. Its very neat and clean and very antique looking .... takes you to a different era altogether
The main attraction of Disney Land is the Princess's Castle in the background. I cant describe how fairy like and how beautiful it is !!
this is the passage to the castle and if you notice the blue banners then lemme tell you that once its dark, these banners have tiny tiny lights sparkling in them .... they look heavenly.... I for sure am getting carried away now !!
here we are about to enter the Princess Castle.... jay is a bit tired here and dont even bother asking me - how am i? I could crash any moment. but still...."kadam badhaye jaa, kadam badhaye jaa"!!
For an amount of 7.50 euros, one can rent a pram like this for kids. they have provisions to hang bags too. Its a very good thought process coz the entire disney land is so so huge that kids tire out easily being on foot.

here we are in the Wild Wild West Pavilion.... there is a moat here and in the background is an island, where there is a roller coaster ride. A big yatch circles this island showing various things.... continue further to see

From the yatch.... one the scenes is that of a typical fisherman's house on the banks of the moat... the hut, the blue umbrella, his boat etc etc.
here comes the roller coaster ride ....
on the island was such lush greenery....look at the colour of the leaves !!! and small waterfalls and streams of water running here and there.... I wish I could get stranded on such an island for a couple of day (minus wild life ofcourse and with basic aminities like fruit trees and veggies and fresh water)... hee hee ...what a thought !!

that's the Phantom Manor.... we will come to that later....just let know that its a spooky house wherein one sits on moving chairs that go around the house and there are ghosts and skeletons popping here and there ...mmm....Jay didnt get scared so i guess, it was not all that spooky..:)
aaaahhh..... here it is..... was able to click only one picture of the interior of the spooky house. This was the initial set up. From here we sat in the chairs that took a tour of the spooky house.
in actual these are toilets, but the way they have been constructed (like broken down houses) was worth a picture. What say?

this is the Pirates of The Caribean theme..... one could go into the ship and look around the cabins and deck of the ship ..etc etc
this is one of the external attachments to the Pirate's ship. You can see the ship's mast in the background .... this is a ropeway connecting one small cliff to the Pirate's Den. Jay was thrilled to walk on it. :)

these flowers looked liked indian version of Mogra, but they bloom in clusters and hang upside down.... plus their mouth is bell shaped..... Are they honey suckles? tccchhh.... no idea ... anyone knows?

another interesting object..... these green blue flowers are actually wrought iron lamps in the shape of flowers. They looked real beautiful

The Canon shooter. Beautiful set up for this ride. You can see the canon, in the background at incline. There is a capsule seating people that shoots from the canon to the top of the pavilion

I clicked lots of pictures of this one tree.... it appealed to my senses. the way it touches the water, its flat bunches of leaves etc etc.... and oh yes ! do check out the lamp post too. since it was in the Space Pavillion, hence its designed like a space orbit object !! What i am trying to say here is that every single object/ thing has been constructed keeping the theme in mind. Even the public seating chairs, the dustbins etc etc
this is the castle at 10pm...though the entrance to the Disney Park closes at 9pm, yet by the time visitors filter out its almost 10pm or more

The Disney Village is the area where there is Planet Hollywood and the entire Food Court area and the souveneir shops. You name a Walt Disney character and you will find the costume of the same here !!
