you would think with a castle like this, no one stood a chance against the Scotts. .. they have all these awesome castles but yet failed in so many battles
there are cemeteries alllll around the centre of Edinburgh, and I mean everywhere. We went on an afterdark tour into one of them
taxi drivers here take A LOT of pride in their taxi's, when ever they weren't driving them, they were parked here polishing them.

this area is where the Edinburgh tattoo is held every year... I tried my bit to belt out a tune, Fish however pointed out that my farting does not in anyway sound like the bagpipes
there is a cricket bat and ball fitted into this sculpture. we thought this was pretty cool, but bloody strange. this thing was ancient which indicates that cricket has been around in Scotland for some time, yet they really aren't very good.
the weird arsed shaped things on the sides of these buildings are supposed to represent curtains.
After reading the Da Vinci Code I was determined to get out and see the Roslyn Chapel and it was bloody awesome.
Because there are issues with the roof and all the stone being a bit wet, a top has been put on until everything dries out. Then they will fix the roof and remove the top
there was a benifit to the top being on, and that is they have erected scaffolding which we were allowed to go up and look at all the intricacies that would normally not be possible
Inside there is barely any piece of stone that doesn't have some carving on it... I was keen to get underneath the chapel and see if the holy grail and the stone of destiny and king Solomon's treasures and everything else was actually under it, but apparently this is not allowed - EVER!
