The service began with the procession around the church. Here Fr. Orest Olekshy knocks on the door of the church while the congregation waits with their candles lit. This represents the friends of Jesus looking for him after he was crucified. They arrive at the tomb (the church in this case) where Jesus was buried the night before. The priest knocks on the door three times and each time announces "Open for the king of glory."
