2010 Lambs
We came home from a Farmer's Market Meeting at 9:30pm and heard crying in the barn -- we saw one baby, then another, then another, then another, then another!!! We didn't know what babies belonged to what mommas so we watched. The babies were probably only 15-20 minutes old based on their condition. Before long the babies and mommas connected. We were fooled for a short while while Mary claimed 4 of the babies but Sweetheart insisted one of them was here. We let her smell one - it wasn't hers, then when I put the next one under her nose she immediately started licking it! So... Mary had triplets, and Sweetheart had twins. Three more Ewes to lamb.
