The New Paper Quilling by Molly Smith Chrsitensen
These are photos of projects I've completed using this book. The projects are not very difficult, but certainly worth trying. Beginners may find some of the projects challenging yet not discouragingly so.

Heraldric Designs
This album contains heraldry designs that I came up with using images from the image catalogue of PrintArtist 12. I made a few crests for a couple of friends and now I'm looking to create more, new or traditional.

This is My Town
These are photos of the small town I'll always call home. It's small and slow-paced, but everything I need is well within walking distance. I still hope to get back there someday soon. It's home and it's the place I belong, even when I'm living somewhere else.

Dance of the Dark Faeries
These are experimental photos I took of lights I saw at night around Blind River. At first, I was going to get rid of them because they were botched photos, but I kind of liked the effects. Now, I'm planning on printing them and maybe displaying them in a gallery of serendipidous artwork. It's amazing what you can get when you look at your mistakes from a different perspective. The title also just came to me; weird things tend to happen to me in Blind River and these photos remind me of some of my stranger encounters.

Serendipidous Embellishments
This experiment started as an accident. After coating some coloured sheets with glitter glue, I noticed that excess glue had hardened on the plastic sheet I colour my paper on. I peeled off the glue then realized that the drips looked like the plastic disk-shaped beads I got in a recent shipment.

Paper Quilled Embellishments
This album contains photos of the embellishments I made using paper quilling techniques. I use them for various projects, including cards, gift tags, wine glass charms, bottle charms, etc.

The Art of Paper Quilling
This album contains photos of the projects I completed using The Art of Paper Quilling by Claire Sun-ok Choi. I made some changes to the original designs, like the colour palettes and backgrounds, to better suit my own taste, but that's about it.

Nothing But Butterflies
I used Paplin's Quilling Kit #361 to make these butterflies. They look somewhat different from the designs on the cover sheet because of variations in colour and my perfectionism.

Handmade Cards and Tags
These are cards I started making thanks to the Cardmaker Kit-of-the-Month Club. The kits taught me many of the techniques I'm now using for my own designs, but I'm also using techniques and designs that I've come up with.

A Guide to Quilling Flowers
In this album are pieces I put together following the instructions in a book titled A Quide to Paper Quilling Flowers by Helen Walter. Most of the pieces depict Australian wildflowers, but there are some garden and North American flowers. Definitely a resource no quiller should do without!

Plastic Canvas Designs
I came up with these cute little fish when I was trying to figure out what to do with plastic canvas left over from one of my projects. I used a simple gobelin stitch to give the appearance of scales and added google eyes.

Woven Paper Mousepads
I came up with these mousepads when I was playing around with paper weaving techniques. Applying clear contact paper makes the paper more durable and waterproof.
Pinwheels
I came up with these pinwheels as a simple and fun project, a way to shake off the last of the winter blahs and celebrate the coming spring. I made the blue, green, and white pinwheels out of scrapbook paper, and the rest I made using my hand-coloured paper. I'm planning on using the pinwheels in floral arrangements as well as party favours, decorations, and even jewelry like rings and earrings.

Tea Light Lanterns
I made these lanterns using vellum sheets. I simply roll the vellum into a cylinder and glue or sew along the overlapping ends to secure it. I use battery-powered tea lights rather than actual tea lights for safety. Simple but quite lovely.
Jewelry Designs Volume 3
This is the third volume of my jewelry designs. This album contains photos of my designs for 2009. Again, the designs are simple and minimalist, but I'll be experimenting with media and colours. This time, however, the bracelets in this album are available for sale once I set a price for them. As usual, comments about colours and types of beads would be most appreciated.

Tri-colour Flowers
I made these when I was experimenting with quilling techniques. The petals of the flowers and some of the leaves were made using strips I made by glueing three coloured strips together.

Rosa Perpetua
I found the basic pattern for my roses in The Book of Paper Quilling by Malinda Johnston, but I made a few changes to the pattern, use a slightly different technique, and I use my hand-coloured paper. For more information about the book, contact Sterling Publishing Co., Inc.(800-805-5489 or specialsales@sterlingpub.com) or look for it in your local bookstore.

Frames and Shadowboxes
I made these out of recycled cardboard packaging (cereal, cookie, crackers, etc.) and decorative paper. I cut the boxes into strips and glued them together in layers, very much like plywood.

Jewelry Designs Volume 1
I designed most of the jewelry using beads I found by buying tassels from Dollarama and taking them apart. Some of them were created using the beads and patterns that I got in a kit I purchased from the Crafter's Choice Book Club - Jewelry Kit in a Box. I've sold most of the pieces that I designed myself (not the designs in the kit), but I'm making more and I'll be taking orders for commissioned pieces as well.

Paper Snowflakes
I made these snowflakes by folding and cutting paper. I usually use white paper, but this time I tried using my hand-coloured paper, which you can view in my Hand-Coloured Paper album.

Geometrica
These are patterns I designed over a ten+ year period. I used a protractor and for the circle based designs, a grid for the square and rectangular designs, and basic shapes (squares, circles, triangles) for the tile patterns.

Hand Coloured Paper
I came up with this idea when I was trying to make my own decorative paper. The sheets are made from copy paper with two or more layers of colour(ink, pencil crayon, etc.) and a thin coating of craft glue.
