Malawi 2612 Balaka
The purpose of the organization is to empower ex-prisoners, and their families, victims of crime, and communities to adopt livelihood patterns that are sustainable and crime-free through behavioral change, reconciliation, and entrepreneurship. The aim of the project is to achieve crime prevention amongst the youth, thereby ensuring a reduction in the number of offenses necessitating imprisonment in the area.
Over the next three years, PFM intends to empower ex-prisoners and out of school vulnerable youths through vocational skills training in carpentry, tailoring, and entrepreneurship to become economically self-sufficient and expand the organization’s bakery, carpentry, and tailoring enterprises.
