Fitzwater St Townhouse Renovation
The first level of a Philadelphia townhouse received a complete face-lift along with a few structural modifications to accommodate modern living. Gardner/Fox provided architecture and construction services to complete the renovation.
The Gardner/Fox construction crew completely removed the existing kitchen and living room finishes, including all cabinetry, counter tops, sink and associated plumbing, electric range and refrigerator, flooring, sub flooring, and all wall finishes.
The architect created a mudroom at the back door with a built in pantry, open shelving, a small desk, and wine storage racks. A new wood-burning fireplace becomes the focal point of the new living room. New door and window casings dress up the cozy interior. New cabinetry, tile backsplash and flooring and appliances finish off the kitchen with a modern twist.
