Marissa get's strapped in and we're ready to go. When it's sunny, or happens to start raining on the trail, we can attach a sun/rain guard to cover her up.
The carrier also has a detachable day pack. This will be perfect for diapers, food and other Marissa items.
Marissa also received a new hat that should shade the sun well. It covers her head, ears and back of the neck.

A much needed rest ... that's 23 pounds on my back. (Marissa - 16, Backpack - 7)
What a hard life ... get carried around for two miles and then fall asleep.
