Colour change, red started to fade...
Disassembly started. On the background you can see my friend's quite rare Honda XLV 750 R. v2 engine with cardan drive!

Corrosion. Some gears need to be changed. Gear box has 90 000km on it.

Tool is needed to separate the casings.
Oil pump was like new
New paint and measured in the jig
Fork with new seals and bearings
Electrics, wheels etc. on place
Stil needs some plastics, tanks, seat and engine.

Changing 750 magneto back from the 800. I rode this 800 engine (46 000 km on it) only 1700 km until some gears broke.

New balancer chain.

Place for kick start, if had one!
Taking some parts from the donor 800 engine :) Glutch, etc.
Installing the cylinder head. It was repaired at 60 000 kms. It was like new also.
First test drive was made. Everything wroks.
Fitting plastics back. I added yellow to cheer it up!
Everything ok. 500 kms back, when taking this picture.
New parts also for carburetor.
Which one is the old one? :)
How to replace that idlejet?

Right one is with new slide carrier. Note how much more it is open when closed than the left one.
Oikeassa kaasarissa on uusi luistirunko paikollaan. Luisti jää jonkinverran ylemmäs kuin vanhalla :)
Slide was stuck at the first fulthrotle after winter. Not so good idle here....
Hmm. Some dirt on the needle...
Left side intake valve seal is leaking oil
Right side valve is much cleaner
