Bananas as they are "correctly" seen in an RGB photo; this is how most of us think we see bananas all the time, including "normally" sighted men.
The same image with a bit of color-enhancement tweaking done in LAB color, to emphasize overall hue, with a deliberate over-nudging of the blue channel to illustrate heightened contrast; this is SORT OF how women MAY see the image, assuming they have better color perception and stronger sensitivity to blue.
A cottontail rabbit seen in unaltered RGB; this is how they supposedly look to most of us.
The same image reset in LAB to have a sharp reduction in the red/green (A) channel. Notice how the grass has become distinctly more yellow, the ground much more blue, but the rabbit's fur appears to be a muted shade that may reduce its ability to hide. This is how "color deficient" people might see the image.
Apples, again as they might appear in unaltered RGB space.
Apples with the same enhancement curves applied to the bananas.
Oranges, also "normal".
Oranges with the same LAB enhancement given the bananas and apples.
And finally, strawberries in "normal" color.
The same, again with the same curve shifts.
Bullshit, as men see it.
The same, as women might perceive it. While it may be true that seeing some colors more clearly has a survival advantage, the value of the idea that women 'prefer' pink, and therefore are biologically predetermined to be of no more worth than the number of babies they can pump out, is obviously displayed here.
