Swans, Bergse Plaat, Bergen op Zoom, NL 23-05-2010
It seems that there are 4 differents couples with kids around there. Someone living there make almost a dayly report of them with photos also on Picasa. And I though since I live in Bergen op Zoom I would like to see those swans and photograph them too. So I went. I saw 3 different couples, one with 8 kids, one wiht 6. The third was too far away to see properly. When the young swans start looking more like swans I will come back again. It is so sweet to see the parents taking care and protecting their young ones. I couldn't approach them properly because it is difficult reach and I didn't want to have an argument with father swan which is beautifully huge!! Impressing animal!! So for the first couple, I had to stay on the bridge, where children standing there were throwing bread to them. Handy for me!
