"It was very lovely at this point in the walk - the sun had come out and was lighting up patches of flowers - I guess in a few days they will be providing an even bluer carpet. I have walked the cornish coastal path - but some years ago now, and have never been to Fife. I really like the coast that is just over the Scottish border - St Abb's Head is very lovely. We are going to Coll in a couple of weeks time which will be another first. If you end up in Yorkshire let me know."

"Yes, I've been hearing from my daughter that it's been pretty hot over there. I've also got a work colleague who has returned looking very brown and relaxed. We are really pleased it's mostly gone now - the slipping and sliding on the icy pavements was particularly unpleasant."
