As we were taking off and about to go over open water for 4 1/2 hours, Luke turns to me and says, "There has never been a successful open water landing of a plane in history".
A view out the door of our room.
Bet that would be tasty with enough butter and cream...
We spent the first day reading.
Election day in Puerto Rico was filled with people waving flags, honking their horns, and dragging palm leaves behind their cars.
Sounds uncomfortable.
Luke geeking out at the largest radio telescope on the planet.
Workers taking the tram upwards
Big hole in the ground.
A Coqui. The sneaky little bastards kept finding ways into our room. They're very LOUD.
The breakfast nook at our B&B
Luke descending into the jungle
The concrete was only poured one year ago
Chomp!
We borrowed the B&B owners dog for the hike out to their private waterfall.
Luke attacked by houseplants!
The private waterfall
The pool was about 15 feet deep
Luke somehow got a picture of me...
I'm hungry!
But maybe not for that....
The trunk of a royal palm
Oops. I knew I had packed the wrong footwear...
Luke's stock pose
I can't take him anywhere...
Do you sense a theme?

I meant to photograph all of our breakfasts, but this is the only one I remembered to before inhaling. My favorite was the cream cheese and guava butter stuffed french toast.
A caption couldn't improve upon that one....
What more do you need?
Awesome blues
We were touristy for our last day and went on a sail/snorkel trip.
These are some of the other catamarans we ran into.
I've seen that face before...
Luke growing a set of devil horns.
This guy was at our docking spot back on shore
Another backyard shot
The villa we had to ourselves
The jungle came to our door
Walking in old San Juan
Acres of lawn to mow
But the high heels are ok, right?
Awesome!
Those bricks have been there awhile
So tired....
Takeoff!
