Our guide.
A mosque by our first stop, outside an antique toy shop.
Some of the tour party from the hostel.
More of our party.
Old robot toys.
A small garden out the back of the toy shop, with a fountain.
The museum. We stopped and went inside, as four of the exhibits are open for free in the evenings.
The ceiling of the museum lobby.
An exhibit about food.
There were a number of stations like this around the room where one could push a button to smell a particular spice or flavouring.
In the photography exhibit. This seemed a rather unflattering photograph.
An old camera.
These chandeliers swung back and forth in two rows, with varying amplitude.
Walking beneath the chandeliers.
Part of the fashion exhibit.
"Make your lips more kissable!" With perfume, I think it was.
Chinese puppet theatre.
An escalator. Up a hill. Outside.
Some nice church we scooted past.
Hey, that is me!
Yep.
The ferris wheel. Apparently it is not worth going on, at least not currently while there is lots of construction nearby.
Apparently there is a big swimming pool on the bridge between the towers, among other things.
Obligatory Merlion.
Dinner at the enormous foodcourt. We were well ready for it by this time (9:03 pm).
The band playing on top of the drinks / desserts stalls.
A temple.
Another temple.
Muscly statue outside the temple.
Raffles Hotel. It is very expensive.
The panels of this building light up in various patterns. It looks pretty cool. Apparently it is a shopping mall.
