An interesting clock outside the main entrance.
Furnace for smelting some metal. I cannot remember whether it was copper or iron.
Old machine tools.
They had a helpful plaque explaining how the windows of this part of the museum work.
High voltage electricity. Unfortunately I did not make it to the daily demonstration.
Software to track faces and estimate mood and basic demographics. It kept changing, but it got my age right on at this point in time. You can read what it says if you zoom in on this photo.
Scientists in a zoo enclosure. Doing research, apparently.
Tape library robot.
Robots!
Milking robot.
Some RoboCup contestants.
One of many exhibits in the optics section... I think this one was demonstrating how a hotter region of air can refract light.
A very cool hologram of several pairs of glasses. One pair of glasses (which you can faintly see in this photo) was in front of the image plane, so they appeared to be floating in the air in front of the wall, and by positioning my head just in front of them it was possible to 'wear' them and read the book in focus through the glasses. Without looking through the glasses the text appears slightly out of focus.
