"Tks! They are cool birds to have around, though not rare at all... I wonder if they were this tame a generation or so back when people hunted even more than now, especially on farms. When I moved back, I noticed a number of large birds (Ravens, Bald Eagles, Canada Gees) which I never saw in my immediate area growing up.. I wondered why, but finally thought it must be the younger generation shooting less and/or in a more regulated way...."

"Thanks! These are just out of nurse/community pots into the ground late this year, hopefully they are well enough established for winter, and next year they can really spread if they want! (some are tiny! this is a mid-sized vigorous plant can probably cover a lot of ground) Good to have some enviable plants that will grow here :)) Hopefully some more as alpines get established.."
