View pictures of the installation of the R. S. Zarnegin & Family Temple Replica on the rooftop of the Aish HaTorah Dan Family of Canada building at the Western Wall
The 1.2 ton heavy replica was lifted from the Western Wall Plaza to the rooftop in 2 parts.
It sits on a metal frame which will be covered with Jerusalem stone.
Underneath you see the electrical box that steers a hydraulic system that raises the sanctuary building at the heart of the Temple to offer a view of the contents of the Holy of Holies within, including the Menorah, the Table, the Inner Altar, and the Ark of the Covenant.
The second part is lifted up.....
....and installed onto the elevator mechanism.
