Ivano-Frankivsk market. All the rabbits had fur on only one back foot. The best theory I've heard is that's where the person holds the rabbit while they skin it. Also, all this meat sits out in the warm market with no refrigeration. The chickens look like they were beginning to mummify.

Remanents of the Soviet times are everywhere in Ukraine.
Behind this Soviet monument is a wooden cross. It just makes me scratch my head.

Opinions are divided within the Ukraine about joining the EU. Yaremche has EU logos throughout the city. This is a sticker commemorating a Polish/Ukrainian race if I remember right.

A recovery center for children with wonderfully uplifting Soviet iconography.
More Soviet iconography to "inspire" the sick youth.

Roadside memorial?
Yes, the roads really are terrible in Ukraine. This is a moderately trafficked highway.

Ukrainian alcoholic beverage. As far as I can tell, it's actual hard alcohol mixed with enough sugar to cause a diabetic coma. There's no fizz, like a beer.
Baroque mansion in Ivano-Frankivsk
Rooftop garden. It's one of the quirkier things I noticed about Ukraine.
People place padlocks on this bridge when they marry someone. There's more than a few slats missing. Divorces perhaps?
Swans swimming in the artificial ponds created during Soviet times.

Another Lada.
