"God has spoken to me Isaiah..."
"Watch the hand of God and see!"
"God has spoken to me Micah..."
"About you Bethlehem Ephrathah"
"When I will raise for David a branch of righteousness and liberty" (the prophet Jeremiah)
"That's the way it will be"
"A son on whose shoulders the government will be"
"This is how it will go"
"Seek Him and you will know!"
A song that looks back..
"The night is still; shepherds watching on a hill..."
"Perfect child gently wakes"
"Came the hope we've waited for!"
"I close my eyes and see the night..."
"When love was born"
Looking up to the Love that was born that night...
The scene then changes to the fields outside Bethlehem
We had the cutest lambs!
"We're stuck here with a thousand sheep!"
"While life is exiting everywhere else..."
"The highlight of our day is sleep!"
"We're financially ignored!
"Nothing ever happens to a shepherd..."
"Sometimes I wonder if God knows we exist. If He does I am sure He's forgotten where..."
"Except for David killing Goliath, no shepherd will go down in history..."
"Life is boring as can be!"
"Nothing ever happens to me!"
Suddenly angels burst onto the scene, startling the bored shepherds, showing that God had not forgotten them...
"DING DONG"
"Carol of the Bells" by Celtic woman - a lot of fast words and pretty orchestration!
Celtic angels are fun to choreograph for!
"Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say throw cares away..."
"He's come to save all mankind!"
"Can you sing, yeah?" (suddenly the look of the angels is changed as they don sunglasses for the next song!)
"Can we shout yeah?"
"Glory, glory to God!"
"Glory in the highest!"
A lamb watching in the fields gets curious about these angels!
"God has spoken!"
"And peace on earth good will to men!"
When the angels leave, the lambs get excited about what they've seen!
The cutest smiles come as the girls skip in circles together
Hard to keep 10 lambs organzied, but they did well!
Oh no! they see the shepherdesses coming to get them!
So they go hide in the corners. :)
But the shepherdess grab their hands and lead them in a dance
"While by the sheep we watched at night..."
"Glad tidings brought an angel bright"
"How great our joy"
"Praise we the Lord in heaven on high"
"This gift of love..."
"Praise we the Lord..."
"in heaven on high!"
"I don't know what to say when I look in your eyes..."
"I don't know how long I'm gonna have you for..."
Trying to portray the tenderness of Mary for her newborn Son..
"You'll be here!"
"Someday I'm gonna look back on this, the night that God became a baby boy..."
"Listen to the angels sing..."
"All you nations, sing along in this joyous angel song!"
"Behold a manger is His throne"
"We with God are reconciled!"
"Bringing life and light to all who call His Name"
"Glory to the newborn King!"
Suddenly the shepherds arrive, telling of the angels that told them to find the Child.
"We have come to worship Him"
Then the shepherdesses arrive, adding to the celebration
"He will save us out of all our sins"
"He is Emmanuel"
"He is the Lord, our hope forevermore"
"And we have come to worship Him"
"We have come to worship Him."
Such hope...
"The light of Christ..."
"has come into the world"
"God gave up His only Son, out of love for the world"
"The light of Christ has come into the world!"
"Noel Noel... born is the King of Israel!"
The dances of joy continue!
"Thrushes stir in the breeze, and hide from the moonlight..."
"The whole world is waiting..."
"A holy winter to cheer our darkened hearts"
"Jesus our Lord and King, born in a manger..."
"He who made the mountains, and will come again to reign!"
"For heaven's light is lying in a manger bed..."
"Sweet Mary, she kisses His head, and sings a lullaby..."
"But a star in the heavens, as sign full of wonder..."
"Rejoice O Earth! Your Savior is born!"
"It was all about love!"
"Born that we may have life!"
"Sing sweet and low..."
"your lullaby..."
"To angels say amen."
"A mother tonight is rocking a baby in Bethlehem."
"The star that beckons them..."
"A mother tonight is rocking..."
"A little child shall lead them..."
"Sing sweet and low your lullaby..."
The wise men dancers arrive, in their seeking of the King
"God with us"
"Emmanuel abides with us!"
"Mortal and mystery somehow intertwined..."
"The King of Israel abides with us!"
"This baby child is God with us"
"Mary's baby child is God with us"
Beautiful smiles looking up!
Starting in 1st position, like we've practiced all semester. :)
"What can I give Him?"
"Poor as I am..."
"If I were a shepherd I would bring Him a lamb"
"If I were a wise man, I'd sure do my part"
"So what can I give Him?"
"I'll give Him my heart!"
"I'll give Him my heart, I'll give Him my heart..."
"What can we give Him, what can we bring?"
"What can we offer that's fit for a King"
"Give Him your heart!"
"What can I give Him, but all of my heart!"
"I'll give Him my heart."
"In the first light of a new day, no one knew He had arrived."
"As His mother held him closely, it was hard to understand..."
"That her baby not yet speaking was the word of God to man"
"He would tell them of His kingdom"
"The angels join in the celebration!
"But the sadness would be broken!"
"And the firstborn of creation would ascend and take His throne!"
"How much greater will their song be..."
"When He comes to rule the earth!"
"He rules the world with truth and peace"
"Joy, unspeakable joy! An overflowing well!"
"Joy, unspeakable joy!"
"It rises in my soul!"
"Never lets me go!"
The whole cast... To God be the glory!
