It was such a nice day early on though the Met Office & BBC weather forecasts waere for snow in the afternoon.
GRC boating at 12:20 as repeatedly instructed. The last crew left the steps at 13:40 and teh race never started to 14:00. Madness!
Tyne RC Web site states "The afternoon division saw a mini blizzard just at the start for about 10-15 minutes and a shade more wind, but apart from that conditions were very rowable" Thankfully there were no collissions or injuries.
