Jupiter and its Galilean Moons

Taken on successive nights in cold, clear weather with no Moon. Orbital motion of the Galilean moons of Jupiter and the Rings of Saturn were first observed through the telescope made by Galileo Galilei. I used my DSLR with a 250 mm telephoto lens.

Cross Country

East on US50, until Witchita, Kansas. South on I-35 to west on I-40 to Arkansas to visit my mother. Northeast on various roads to Covington, Kentucky to visit my sister. Northeast again across Ohio to Erie, Pennsylvania to visit my father and brother. Then west across I-90 to Montana and south into Yellowstone and Grand Tetons in Wyoming.
