"Here's David being the man. We used three light fixtures for this shot. A fill light on the left, basically perpendicular with the side of his face. A directional light with a red filter pointing slightly to the left of his face. And an unfiltered white light with less intensity on the right side of his face to get rid of the shadows from the lights on the left side."

"These are a couple of my favorite shots from the portrait photography session last Thursday. In this photo, there is pretty much only a fill light set up on the right side of the photo, thus giving Harry's face some pretty sharp shadows on the left. I really liked the effect though, and the color turned out really nicely. I think we may have been using the orange filter paper for this shot so we could turn Harry into a golden god. Mission accomplished, I say."
