From June 10 - 25, 2010, Liz Wood, Ben Rapoport, and I conducted a workshop on Science Research and Education at the University of Liberia. We focused on teaching practical and useful scientific ideas, and developing laboratory research exercises using locally available materials.

Teaching Science in Liberia, June 7 - 21, 2009

Ben Rapoport and I were sponsored by the I-Help Liberia Project, the Liberian Mandingo Association of New York (LIMANY), Booker Washington Institute (BWI), and the Liberian Ministry of Education, to travel around the country for two weeks, setting up science education programs and teaching science.
