Tintagel castle (the remains of the 13th century castle) set on a picturisque headland connected to the mainland by a slim finger of land - associated to the legendary King Arthur was said to be born here
Tintagel castle is seperated into 2 sections (left and right) - tourists have to climb up 100+ steps to get to the top; At low tide, tourists can also visit the Merlin's cave below on the Castle beach (below the right island)
