A cool tree we came across on our way up
We reached this spot on our way up. From this point on the trail to the top was very slippery and pretty steep with a few rock patches on the way.

A short rest as we neared Dhavale on our way back. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and really really hot :)
We had to have good food after a lovely trek. We stopped at a classic old-style dhaba - 'durga mata dhaba' near Poladpur on Mumbai-Goa highway. You can see anand dancing with joy.
We ordered 'healthy' stuff like Chana masala, bhendi fry, Chicken masala, mixed vegetable fry :D. khatevar basun madhye phalkute takun dabun jevlo.
I did not eat all that alone.
Siesta after a heavy and late lunch.
