Nina's First Make-over

I was hoping to enjoy Nina's perfect default make-up for longer than a week, but I was clumsy and accidentally marked it up with the red pen I was using to write down her measurements. I thought for sure I could wipe it off with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and I was right.... except that it also took off a noticeable bit of make-up. ><;;

Katie and I went to Coronado to hang out. I messed around with Vignette on my new Droid2. 2.99 GPB for infinite "Polaroids" is worth it, when actual Polaroids cost $2-3 a shot. And I would've just scanned them in, anyway...

For Katie's bridal shower, I got a bunch of friends and family together to help her craft her centerpieces a month before her wedding. Her wedding's theme was winter wonderland/fairytale, so the tables were identified by/named for characters/aspects of beloved books.

Guitar Makeover

On a lark, I decided to refinish the guitar my parents gave me for my 15th birthday. It's a Yamaha F-310 and I think it cost $120... it's beat all to heck since I've had it for over a decade, so even if I ruin the sound of it I will be happy just to have made it pretty. I have another guitar anyway...

Christmas Cookie Wreaths 2008

Over 200 home baked from scratch hand-cut-and-frosted holly leaf-shaped sugar cookies, made in one night for Ben's co-workers. I am going to be one of the most awesome moms at the bake sale, one day in the distant, distant future.
