One of the risky things about Antelope Canyon is that rain floods it instantly. There was a sign to the right listing people who died in flash floods there. Luckily, there was no rain in the forecast for the day.
The beginning of Lower Antelope Canyon. It's about a foot to a foot and a half wide here.
Inside the canyon. It's been sculpted by wind carrying sand through the canyon. It's extremely narrow in some places and doesn't get much wider than maybe 6 feet accross.

Less than halfway through, here's what the insanely bumpy, unpaved road had done to our car. It was even dirtier afterwards. Definitely worth it though!
Blurry like many of the other shots because some were taken in motion while driving along a road that was as close to offroad as you can get while still having definite edges.
How does this happen!???
So many dried trees

Crazy rainstorm on a winding road that dropped off sharply on both sides.
It's not really visible here, but the rainstorm turned into hazelnut-sized hail that was coming down harder than I've ever seen. A brief discussion about whether hail damage was covered by the renter's insurance ensued.
Llama farm!
Something about this makes me not want to deposit money here.
