Funnel cloud between Sigurd and Koosharem
New road signs signifying entrance to Sidehill Ranch
Our girls were VERY excited to get to The Ranch. This is on the long driveway up to the house.
Leah turned 4 while were were at the Ranch so Jen made these “ladybug” cupcakes. They were yummy.
The excited birthday girl.
Singing happy birthday.
Leah got a bike for her birthday. Notice the great view from the deck? No wonder we love this place.
Looking toward Capitol Reef NP from the deck of Sidehill Ranch.
Abby in between swings.
Abby, Keira, and Leah on a hike. We ended up hiking up to the tallest rock you see on the far right in the distance.
A bunch of crazy girls.
Leah posing for a picture.
All the Clark ladies on our hike.
Keira trying to speed up gravity's pull on those brittle sandstone ledges.
“Look Mom...I'm right next to the edge!”
This was about half-way up the hike. We made it to those tall rocks on top.
Kevin -- he's on the top of the world looking down on creation...
The hike gets a thumbs up, even though Lauren was carried the whole way and Leah was scared the whole way.
Lauren getting yet another ride, this time from Uncle Ryan.
The Fremont River was flowing a-plenty.
Despite the rain we received on and off all weekend, the farmer's sprinklers were busy.
Everyone else left Sunday night, so we started a fire and cooked hot dogs and marshmallows. What a great night!
Not al the marshmallows made it to Leah's belly.
I'm doing the work...Abby benefits from it. What can she say? Very nice lilac bush behind us.
The girls finally fell asleep (it was a challenge every night). L to R: Lauren, Leah, and Abby.
Leah's breakfast of champions: canteloupe and strawberries. She wanted both.
That's not blood; rather, that's what strawberries do to Leah. Obviously, she has not mastered the art of clean eating.
All packed up and ready to leave the Ranch. It was a great visit.
