Elif has at last given birth! Here she is with baby and placenta, within an hour or so of the birth
The baby has not yet managed to stand up, but is moving around on the ground (and getting very messy in the process!)
She is still pretty damp, and has a fair amount of bloody mucus on her face
She stands up . . . . . sort of! Those long legs are very hard to control when you're only a couple of hours old.
And this sloping land makes it very difficult!
Getting up from a collapse is very hard . . . .
"I think I'll just have a lie down in the sun to recover"
Elif is very tender and guides the baby around effectively with her head
"Am I supposed to eat this like you?"
At last, she discovers the whereabouts of the milk!
And the next morning, she's learning how to use the toilet area along with mum.
