Fulong Beach and Camping - Fulong Beach is located in Gongliao Township, Taipei County, at the mouth of the Shuanghsi River, the largest river in Taiwan's Northeast Coast. The beach faces the Pacific Ocean and stretches three kilometers with golden sand. It has long been the most popular swimming beach and summer resort in Northern Taiwan. Along the Fulong Beach, the sand dune vegetation and Shuanghsi estuary ecology are ideal for outdoor learning activities. A bridge connects the inland river and beachfront areas. The river in this area is calm and suitable for sailing, canoeing, banana boating, cross-country diving, jeep riding, and parasailing. At the ocean, visitors can enjoy various kinds of water sports, such as swimming, wind surfing, canoeing, and other non-powered boating activities.
The public facilities available at Fulong Beach include parking lots, shaded pavilions, wooden walkways, shower rooms, restaurants, and overnight accommodations.
