Kyoto station
The station is really nice; it's open and airy...i dont know what they do when it rains though
ah. the peace sign starts early for the japanese
ahh starbucks right outside the station
the leaves were gorgeous in kyoto...this is at imperial palace.
kid at imperial palace..
more kids...
the imperial 'paris' (oh palace...) was kind of boring b/c so much of it was in construction
the garden was prob the best part
again the foliage is pretty
geisha wannabes in the gion district
again, i think these are wannabes.
geisha posers in a nice store
store displays of goodies were fantastic and of course...cute
i love how neat, organized and cute the stores are...even if they are selling useless pretty things
this is a true geisha...our walking guide tour is married to a former geisha and pointed out which were the real geishas. (the ones that scurry away and ignore you while you take their pic)
our guide was able to stop and talk to this geisha...i dont know about you but i think they look horrible up close. Maybe they look better if they just dont smile
staring down a crazy picture takin tourist
