24 Hours after a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. There are four port sites for the laparoscope & tools (at my belly button, superior mid-line, and two on the left side of the picture). The fifth site, which is most superior, is the hole for the intraoperative cholangiogram.
One week after surgery, I've had to remove the bandages after developing an allergic reaction to the adhesive in the tegaderm & band-aids. Ouch. The swelling has gone down, but, dagnabit, my belly button has morphed again. Couldn't they put it back the way they found it?!?!?
