Monday power plant session

Interns and mentos set to work to sow 6 beans, zuchinni, 4 peas, radishes, lemon cucumber and corn. Great job Diedre and Katilin with the beans. Sarah also continued to plant tomatoe transplants. Lynsie's corn transplants were also planted in the corn row, and sowed 100 corn seeds. Very very successful day.

Monday Monday....Manic Monday

Due to warning of frost, Interns covered the rows with plastic and held off planting more. Lettuce is starting to come up. Cantalope and califlower was transplanted. Peat moss amended into two rows ready for Peas and Beans.

Cool Farm evening

The weather was perfect while we planted red and green peppers, cucumbers, Rhubarb Swiss Chard, L. Swiss Chard, 5 kinds of lettuce, Squash, Sugar pie pumpkins and Sage. Flying chickens were stopped and praying for rain continues.

Come on rain, planting has started!!

The heat has dried up all the soil. Lots of peet moss and Silvo's super soil is worked into the soil, and buckets of water. Silvo's tomato transplants are put into the ground. A perfect bed is made with newpaper and mulch. Celery and Lark Squash are also planted. Dill is broadcast onto a well amended bed. Come on rain!!

Monday Farming

We arrived after the weekend to see that Todd had surprised us with nicely tilled rows and bags of peat moss! Thanks Todd. We transplanted tomatoes, planted potatoes, transplanted orange mint, strawberries and marigold flowers.

Wednesday Visit

Tomatoes and Squash planted and last three rows have been newpapered and composted. Bridge has been built by Dillion. Fence and gate is offically complete. Pumpkin has grown a great deal.
