Parents and Japan: Temples, Temples, and Temples
Kyoto and Nara are the places that foreigners imagine all of Japan to be. And as such, are common destinations for tourists. The parents got to do the totally non-tourist thing in my town for week, and then for some contrast, we did the tourist thing for a week.
