Some big mixed bunch race at the track. ;)
Love the look of dried out grass..
Getting all artsy or something..
Look up!
Have camera..will photograph self. ;)
Here's the excellent article featuring OA Victoria, it got published in various newspapers all across Canada!
Ahh! OBB ride, and there's a Naked rider in front of me! ;)
Riding home, getting a shot of of my profile while in the clip-on aero bars, not too bad. I think i had something in the back of my jersey..or i really need to see a Chiropractor..!
Guess which group ride!
Annie, back on her bike after attacking her collar bone, and Craig, both will be Canadian bike stars.
Big group today, out on Land's End.
A deer, on the way out to the track one day.
Vegan, yes. Deer, no. Tho almost as fast as one on the bike!
Bumped into Marty on the way home, he's riding his killer new 'cross bike, an Empella - ain't it perdy!!
Evan and i in Brentwood Bay on an OBB ride.
Gill's there too! Hey Jaymie!
Ryder Hesjedal, back for a few days from the Tour de France, makes his first local media appearance, and does it in order to support the track!
Despite the crappity weather, a decent crowd turned out.
There was a nice clip that appeared on TV, but i never saw anything from this in the print media. : \
Ryder and me! Funny to think he had been racing in the Tour de France just a few days prior! AND -- he's about to take off for the Olympics!
It's the final Learn to Race clinic, unfortunately no new faces, so we opt for some motorpacing instead -- good use of the day!
Taking a short break.
People wonder what i eat..got tomatoes, veggie 'chicken', roasted asparagus and red peppers, and kale with Earth Balance margarine - yum!
Frank Black was in town..
First time i've seen him play with a harp/harmonica!
My friend Angela across from the stage snapping some pics.
Yeah Charles!
Totally random - Sherry eating soup at her bday at the Lotus Pond.
This candle left some really neat patterns as it melted..!
Yay! Here i am in the jersey i won, in the Madison series.
Oh yeah, flex those pipes!! For some reason my head looks waay too big.
Booya, pretty proud to have won that.
On the back, you can see that OrganicAthlete Victoria also sponsored one of the racing events -- the OrganicAthlete Omnium!
Amazingly, out for some non-biking activity! Here's Jess and Julie.
Kelly and Joey.
And the worst mini-putter on the planet!
Jess in action..
Here comes Julie's green ball! She got a hole in one!!!
Kelly was good at hitting the obsticles. ;)
Feeling a little Super Mario.
Joey dominated...
The final tally....
Riding home, there's Joey, Jess and Julie. It's great having the trail system we have.
Kelly can ride with one hand!!
..as can i apparently!
Not sure what she's doing here...
I'm being chased by a giant Shamu!!
It makes the most hilarious squeeky noise!
heh - it's as big as me!
