Ahh..Trackfest. Here i am warming up in STEALTH mode.
The day started with an Omnium, here's Evan in the Flying 200m.

Made it! I was in too light a gear tho so not the best time i could have gotten..

Our tent, it rained a few times during the day, so we all took cover..
The 500m is much preferred to the Kilo..blarg..
Emile rode the 4th fastest 2km pursuit, nearly 3rd fastest, off by a thousandth of a second! That's prolly those gloves, dude. ;)
Don Gillmore was out, which was nice! He rode the fastest times in all events, as expected! Alistair gave him a run for his money in the Pursuit however in a real nailbiter.
The B's & C's were combined for a nice large field, here they are in the Scratch..
Evan had a strong race.
Kev put in some big efforts too, and finished 5th in the Scratch!
Gill and Laura Brown (in front of Gill) battled it out in the Women's field.
The A field for the Omnium, some were calling this the “Real Provincials”, which i'd say was a bit closer to the truth. Nice to race in a big bunch.
The pace was high the entire time...
..relentless at times!!
There was some confusion as to which was the bell lap..in the end i finished 8th.

OA Victoria sponsored the Omnium event, here's the C podium including Evan!
The B podium, Brandon is also vegan! Missing Wayne Walker here, who was tied for points with Brandon, but his combined Pursuit and 500m times favored Wayne in the end.
Gillian took the overall in the Omnium, and Laura was 2nd, but Gill had to shuttle off.
Don, Scott and Murray were the A victors of the OrganicAthlete Victoria Omnium! Nice riding guys!

The day continued with more Madisons, here's Emile and Mike Cooper in the 3k Madison Pursuit.

Here's Day 2 of Trackfest - feeling pretty good, got more Madisons and Bunch Races.
Riders doing a roll-out test, A's were restrictedf to an 84“ gear for all Madison events to help with balancing. And yes, I'm Number One!!
And the race is on! Weird not seeing myself completely in green!
Emile and Laura paired up for the second day's Madisons, it was her first event, and they raced well as 'OA Dark'. =)

But we pull it off without worry!
Emile and Laura were getting the hang of it a couple races later.
This was a MASSIVE effort on my part.. Coming out of corner two i had exchanged for the final sprint, and made perhaps 50m on Scott, but the guy threw on the afterburners and caught me at the line...i went *so* hard...ouch..

I went to the front, and sat there as long as i could, got popped pretty early on.

..and take 2nd! Not particularly important since it's just a qualifier.
The final, i get the dreaded 1st position.

..i leave a gap hoping someone will fill it.. Don is leaving a gap too..haha
We all settle in..
I look back and the field has all pulled up...very rare in a Keirin, but hey!!

I took off solo to try and nab some points..
And yes! Collect 1st place points in the first sprint!
Once again the group mainly stuck together..
I went for a few of the sprints, but got pipped each time...frack!!
It's the final Bunch Race, a 36 Lap Points race. Up that way i guess!!
