This quilted settee and painted ottoman and painted chair are part of the collection I have designed as a tribute to the Marie Antoinette. The settee was found in a jammed local antique shop, in a red fabric and old ugly wood. The fabrics were pieced together, the frame painted white, pogged in lace, and then burnished in gold paint. Natascha painted the ottoman, and made the cushions and Jane painted the chair and the paintings. Many creative minds went into this creation .I wanted to inspire people in this age of modernism and clean lines that there is still a place for curves, feminity, sensuality in our homes
