Ivy Family visit
Well it's Time for Vacation and we're on our way to Todd and Claudia's. On the way John and Amy were Gracious enough to offer us a place to stop for the night.. When we first arrived I got to go with John, Beau and Blake to an old farmers place to pickup 99 lbs. of live fish to transplant into the Ivy pond. We had to put the fish in cold well water rather than hot pond water to keep them alive on the trip to Johns. Janice got to go with Amy and Ema to collect the eggs from the coop. we were given the grand tour and when it began to get dark, we went inside for the evening meal. We began with a prayer said by the children and then we had a meal of meals with free range chicken that tasted like no other chicken I've ever eaten. Everything we had for supper was grown on their farm. Grilled tomatoes and Okra, Yukon Gold potatoes, Cucumber and Sour Cream salad and for desert a coconut pie that we picked up at Priester's . It was a grat meal, that we'll never forget.
