First attempt at letters. Blocky. 'A' is too thin.
This doesn't -really- look like an 'O'.
The word CHOCOLATE doesn't look special here. Each color has it's own 'font style.' Here, CHOCOLATE looks pedestrian.
A little playing, a new idea.
Second version of CH. I love these.
oh-oh. This 'O' is far to angular.
Just not feeling the love. CHOCOLATE should be smooth, luscious and wonderful. These look jagged and... icky.
The letters in the drawing -look- like the word would work.
I think the 'L' is too thin, and the 'O' looks like the little teacup in the movie Beauty and the Beast.
perhaps it's just "cute" overload. And the word doesn't seem to fit with the others.
Yup, letters are too small, and there's to much negative space. I'm just not feeling the love.
love this 'a'
I drew out new letters, life size (4"). I think this will work.
Yes, I think these new letters "fit" much better with the rest of the other words.
Sneak Peek of the whole thing so far.
First three of the new letters.
First six of the new letters. (The 'C' will be more in the middle of the two 'O's. Note how the 'O's are almost "mirror images" of each other.
The O and the C will be sewn a bit closer to each other.
Had to use the chocolate novelty fabric -somewhere- !
CHOCOLATE letters finished... but I think the second 'O' and the 'L' need to be thicker.
All the colored words.
These are the final letters for CHOCOLATE.
