seams finished with a simple zigzag
simple design and good results
The crown is finished with hand stitching. I am going to find a stronger way to finish the hats.

You can see some slouchiness in the back. I want more in the next hat I make from this pattern.
Here's the back with a nautilus look to it.
More spiral looks. The pieces are even when sewn...I think I'll play with placement and see if I can get a strong spiral effect.
