Partial Annular Solar Eclipse, May 20, 2012
A neighborhood gathering to observe the partial annular solar eclipse from my backyard observing pad. The instrument is an eight-inch (20-cm) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope on a permanent mount, with a mylar solar filter, an f/6.3 reducer, and a 26-mm eyepiece.
