20110827 - Cyclones vs Beaudesert

What a great match. Beaudesert are a very good team. Last time we played them, both teams were pretty evenly matched.
But for this match, the Preliminary Final where only the winner would proceed to the Grand Final, the Cyclones rose to the occasion, producing a great -all-team effort and played their hearts out to win. Played in the drizzling rain. Look at the expressions on these young player's faces from both teams! Lots of guts and determination are on display. All their parents should be proud.
The Cyclones' Coach, Shane Pearson, said it was the best effort he'd seen from his players this year and that it was impossible to single out just one person for a Player of the Week award, and I agree.
