After The Dump 2

We got over a foot of snow - beautiful light powder. The images speak for themselves. Just wish I'd gone out exploring with the camera. The morning of Jan. 6th was pure magic!

Amsterdam

These shots were taken in and near Amsterdam. Some are from the Fuji, others added later were taken with the cell phone camera, as the batteries were out on the Fuji. Amsterdam is the most intriguing city I've seen yet. I could live there.

Road trip from Dakar to St. Louis, then north along the Senegal River to Richard Toll, back down N2 to Thies, and eventually back to Dakar. Didn't QUITE cross over into Mauritania.

Snow Day in Killearn

Some of these were taken from Bruce & Anne's home, out the window, others on a drive about. The snow was most excellent - VERY light yet damp, with HUGE (and I mean MASSIVE silver-dollar-sized) snowflakes. Then dinner... and Anne is an excellent cook and gracious hostess. Thank you!

Glasgow 2007/2008

Anne and her kids and her daughter's BF took me on a bit of a tour of Glasgow. Anne drove us to the train and we took the train on into town. The BF is with a bus tour, so many shots came from the bus. The rain and my old Konica don't begin to do the place justice, but you'll get a little feel of the city from these. THANKS to Anne and her family, and also to Bruce, who was recouperating and kept the home fires that day.
