Our Google tech writing team (InfraDocs) wanted to have a fun and team building off-site. Joan suggested doing something that also contributed to the community. Julie made it happen. We drove to Watsonville and worked for 3-1/2 hours at Second Harvest, an organization that redistributes food to those in need. We moved and packed about 16 tons of food - over a ton each. It was very physical and we had a great time. Went out for a well-earned lunch after.
