The view from our hotel room - Los Ñires
Day 1 started off with some canoeing
Jeff really likes canoeing so it gets two thumbs up

Thumbs up for Patagonia
A cloudy day but beautiful landscape nonetheless
Jeff is ready to see some Penguins
And we've arrived a Penguin Island (a.k.a. Hammer Island)
Up close and personal. We were asked to just not get within 10 feet.
It was pretty frickin cold on this island thanks to the wind but I was still pretty happy
Lunch time - Family Style. I became a big fan of the local custom of drinking wine at lunch.
View from outside the cabin where we had lunch
The group spent the afternoon on a short hike
This is Kevin. A cute kid from Chicago that had the most over-protective father.
Beaver Dam - Beavers were introduced in 1946 and the population has grown from 50 to 50,000. They chew up trees and dam streams and wreak havoc on the environment.
Rainbows never get old
San Martin - The main drag of downtown Ushuaia
Nueva York is about 10602 Km or about 6587 miles up the road
Beagle Channel as night falls
I have no idea
Dublin - The best tourist bar we found in Patagonia

Day 2 and I'm still loving Patagonia

I mean, it was beautiful there
Are you tired of me in front of beautiful landscapes yet?
This is how Jeff gets all of those amazing pictures
This is the furthest south that you can drive in the world
The water was somewhat blue
A cliff covered with nesting cormorants.

More from Redondo Island. I wish my camera were better. That is Chile off in the distance.
