Checking out the lookoff sign.
What a lovely view. Between the hills you can see the sea and Montrose (where Kev if from).
What's that coming over the hill, Yanos? Is it a monster?
Kev, Maribelle, Yanos, Peter, Me. Off for a great journey in Kev's car through the Cairngorms.
Why yes... it is a monster.
Just to prove we were here.
Squeezing through in to the vat.
In the vat.
Peter looking proud.
The legend is that whoever drinks from the falls will have eternal youth. We later saw a very happy older couple and realised that it might be nice to get old, but only Yan will have that priviledge I guess because the rest of us drank from the falls.
Standing on top of the falls looking down in to the vat.
This is the wee crack in the rocks that you have to come in through.
The thinker.
This is the stream that feeds the falls. Very lovely and Scottish looking.
This is probably the best shot I got of the vat, from above, you can see how it is worn. There are sometimes waterfalls from both sides.
We journeyed up the trail a bit more, which we later found out wasn't the trail, just following the stream.
More streamage.
Lovely.
A badger hole, I'm sure of it!
Kev climbed up to see if this was a cave.
He climbed way up.
Meet Yanos, he's a nice fellow. All relaxed there on a rock.
These are our engagement photos. The wedding will take place August 18th. Haha.
Wild shamrocks. Not just in Ireland folks.
Peter preforming some sort of vodoo on Kev's bum.
This is the acutal cave where you (or Gilroy MacGregor) can hide. Yan and I stayed dry whilst everyone else packed in there.
