PHILLY, THIS IS YOUR BEER WEEK!
Stretching before the Dock Street to Dock Street Scavenger Run
I bring the participants up to speed before the run
The mood was festive, groups of friends participated and had their pictures taken beforehand
And, they're off!
And, gone up Spruce Street..
The first finisher, though not an overall prize winner based on the weighted scoring, was Dan Denman in a blistering 36 minutes.
Dock Street provided one of two things they do best...beer...in this case the Gold Stock and Rye IPA. Participants had to answer questions about what they saw along the run route for points to be factored in to overall scoring.
The best post-race stretch always includes beer!
Later in the evening at The Institute, Don Russell, wife Theresa, and cousin Mark were finally able to relax with some beers after a hectic Friday night kickoff at Opening Tap at the Comcast Center.
Bob Sylvester (Saint Somewhere), Patrick Rue (The Bruery), and I (The Brew Lounge) toasted their arrival in the Philadelphia Market.
Steve Mashington exits Standard Tap with empty pin in hand on his way to Bridgid's.
Name that Foot...not to be confused with Name that Nipple.
